Backend has always been my main passion. I loved being able to have a computer do things rather than making layouts and pages. I've been fortunate to learn from other great developers at my company and expand my knowledge further.

My main focus now is leading a team of full stack developers that program in .Net. We're constantly making new and exciting features while also updating legacy code to always be ahead of the curve.

Frontend development

Even a simple website like this requires some experience in the fundamentals of frontend. Like most developers, my first steps were taken in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I've always been creative, with an eye for good design.

Currently I'm mostly working with Vue.js, adding TypeScript and build tools like Vite to the mix. This website is written in simple JavaScript, HTML and CSS. I wanted to go back to the basics.

Functional analysis

My true origins in the world of software development lie as an analyst. I was the bridge between business and development, writing out functional specifications and testing new code.

It's greatly due to having worked as an analyst that I am very fast in understanding how features have to work from the user's point of view.

UI and UX expertise

There is no modern frontend development possible without a clear design strategy. In the past years I've been fortunate enough to have worked with great UI and UX designers to build applications.

I believe it's important to always think design first in order to deliver the best possible user experience.
